AM - 19 miles. Ran to work the long way - down Holladay to 6200S, Wasatch all the way to Sunnyside, then up the hill. I really love running along the bench early in the morning... you feel like you are so far above all the lights in the valley. Kept the pace nice and easy, just enjoyed the run.

PM - 6 miles. Met up w/ Andrea near Foothill/Sunnyside, then we wandered through some neighborhoods and finished up with a lap around SHP (I'm using Rob's new abbreviation for Sugarhouse Park, and we are probably going to get insanely wealthy selling SHP bumper stickers).

Nice miles! I always have a hard time getting a LR in on a work day. It is seriously impressive that you all run up sunnyside. I barely made it up that road in my car.

One of my favorite runs is to go up Sunnyside PAST the zoo and keep going up Emigration Canyon to Little Mountain... then BOMB IT back down. Ask Andrea about the time I made her do that one with me :-)

I like the new acronym because I can never decide to spell it Sugar House or Sugarhouse. After some investigation it is actually Sugar House (name derived from a sugar beet factory). And a little known fact, "During the 1980s, Sugar House became run down and crime ridden. Sugar House Park was notorious for drugs, crime, and illicit rendezvous." Up until the Barnes & Noble development the area to the west of the park was a dive.

I actually did know that fact about Sugar House being a crime ridden neighborhood, thanks to wikipedia. Good thing Barnes and Noble came in and cleaned things up.
