AM - 10 miles w/ Andrea on the Temple Mountain road. This is a tough run but one of my favorites.

PM - Hike/Scramble through Ding and Dang Canyons (and running through the washes when Andrea was feeling frisky). A perfect follow-up to yesterday's adventures. I did the first part of Ding Canyon last year when my hamstrings were a mess and I was a total wuss... it was much more fun this time around - now that I'm back to my athletic self and approaching my older level of confidence on rocks. I'm so happy to be feeling this strong again!

Another excellent fall desert weekend! [More photos]

That's awesome Jake! Couple of ninjas...

Pretty sure that's the chocolate river from Wonka. Did y'all find Augustus??

You would NOT want to drink this water!

But, mmmmm, chocolate river almost sounds as good as cider river...

As long as there are no creepy Oompa Loompahs around the corner, I'll have a swig.
