AM - 10 miles. 4 mile AT/LT Tempo (5:24, 5:21, 5:20, 4:58) + 10 x 45 seconds uphill. Probably the fastest I've gone on the hills reps. Glad I chickened out played it safe and did 45s instead of 60s reps.

PM - 4 miles w/ Andrea.

On the way home from the gym we quickly stopped at the grocery store to get something for dinner. We ended up buying 10 lbs of meat, and that isn't even close a PR for us.

Excellent workout.

Still in Arizona?

Fast recovery! Nice workout.

Back to SLC last night. Should have put "tempo loop" in my entry to clarify!

Mike - probably something of a calculated risk to do the workout today, but I felt like the way the race played out worked to my advantage in terms of recovering quickly.

Very nice Jake. I think doing this workout today shows that you didn't overdo it at all on Saturday.

Where are your parents moving to?

From Jake K on Tue, Mar 04, 2014 at 12:26:27 from 159.212.71.77

Mid-Atlantic... Maryland until my Dad retires, then they plan to retire in North Carolina.

They might actually move in time to be in DC for the 10 mile champs next month, so that would be cool.

That's a big dinner. 10 lbs? Sounds like one of the restaurants with an eating contest.

To be fair, we bought two days worth of meat :-)
