AM - Climbed Mt Sneffels (14,150') via the SW Ridge. Fun! [~7 miles, 3500']

This was the first time I've been on a 14,000+ foot peak in 3 years. In the 18 months before that, I climbed over 50 14K peaks.

Took the day off from running, long drive back to Utah.

Love the 14er pics. Grew up in Colorado and those were our family adventures. Makes me feel all homey to see all the realestate above 14,000'. You really need to do Handies Peak in June when the fields of wild flowers are blooming. There is also a glacier pond on the route. My brothers and I took a dip one year. SO COLD, but so fun. Jealous of your adventures.

I like the Lake City side of the San Juans as well. Haven't spent quite a much time over there... I did Handies / Sunshine / Redcloud in a day once. Always have wanted to get back to that area w/ my skis... those are some mellow but fun descents.

Did the same triple a few years ago. Love hitting multiple 14ers in a day.

Pretty easy when the roads go above 10K!
