Day 16

  • Ran 5 miles on the nordic trails
  • We got fantastic weather for our last full day in Italy and definitely took advantage. First stop was Via Ferrata Brigata Tridentina - another really fun route with plenty of scrambling.
  • After the descent from Brigata Tridentina, we regrouped at the car and thought about how long it would take to drive back to Zurich... and whether we could fit in one more ferrata route...
  • The decision was obvious - we took two lifts from Corvara and climbed the Via Ferrata Piz da Lech  route. Another awesome route and there was no one else out in the afternoon. An amazing day to cap the trip!
  • Drove from Alta Badia to Zurich

Amazing photos and descriptions, thanks for taking the FRB crew along on your European adventure (sounds better than you taking us along on your honeymoon - that's just creepy).

Thanks Russ. I'm having a hard time getting my post-Europe entries back up to date because anything that doesn't involve hanging off the side of a mountain just seems like a letdown!

One of the key traits of being a good internet citizen is finding the balance of just the right amount of creepiness. You have nailed it :-)

Laughing out loud!!! Hilarious, thanks for reassuring me that I've hit just the right creepy factor. As a middle-aged man I have nearly perfected it.

Maybe to help with the post-Europe entries you could write them very dramatically? "It was a (sort of) dark and (not so)stormy morning. As I laced up my shoes the pent up feelings of adrenaline laced through me...." That's nearly as good as being on the side of a mountain, close to death.
