AM - 15 miles w/ Andrea. One of the coolest runs we've ever done. Started at River Road and decided we'd rather explore and run some real trails, so we ended up running some really fun singletrack to Taggert Lake, Bradley Lake, and then out to Lupine Meadows. From there we ran on the bike path back to my jeep to complete the loop... then took runs doing strides for the camera. Andrea encouraged me to talk a lot (and loudly) on the trails to warn bears that we were coming :-)

A simply amazing morning. I feel so lucky to be able to have a high level of fitness and experience these kinds of places in the way that we do.

PM - 6.2 miles on the bike path, a "progressive shakeout" - got moving pretty good towards the end.

We went mountain biking on the Jackson Hole ski slopes this afternoon. Its pathetic how an intermediate rated loop can kick our butts :-)

Andrea is making sloppy joes, the hot tub is hot, and we have a BIG hike planned for tomorrow. Life is good!

Crikey! What a place. That house looks like something out of Little House On The Prairie(top end of the market - of course). The only thing missing is Mr Edwards; don't worry, I'll be along tomorrow. Enjoy!

Looks amazing. Pssstt...your shoes are the wrong color!

So you gonna leave the roads and come join us in San Fran in December?

By the way, you ever worn the Omni's? Got a pair right now. I used to wear shoes this heavy, but haven't in a while now.

Great Shots! Sounds like something Dennis and I would do ... " strides for the camera" . Nice day of running, too.

I had a pair of the Omnis a while back. Andrea still wears her occasionally - she calls them "clunkers". I agree - they are way too much shoe for me.

I'm having fun running around on the trails this summer but I'm really more interested in getting back to some shorter road races this fall. So no trail 50 milers for sure! I might take a stab at the Vegas 1/2 that weekend... even though I dislike that city, its the fastest fair course close to SLC.

I would love to do a big 30-40 mile loops on the trails up here in the Tetons. There are some amazing options. Definitely some really fun running.

Those are some sweet shots! Looks like tons of fun.

I think I wore Omni's (versions 1 to 5) to train and race in for my first 25 marathons. Then someone said I should stop racing in "army boots". Looks like they are on version 10 meaning I am old.
