AM - 16 miles. Met Fritz, Allie, James, Kevin, Adam (another new Adam), and Rob "hold on guys, we need to run by my house so I can get my sunglasses and look cool" Murphy. We ran a ~7.5 mile loop through Millcreek/SHP, at which point the all the shirts came off when we ran by our cars (suns out = guns out). Then we ran up through Tanner Park / Parleys Trail and finished up with a grass loop on the perimeter of SHP. Best part of the run was probably passing a bunch of little kids who were running in the park, cheering them on and giving them high-fives.

Great run this morning. Lots of dorky running banter. I love it. The last couple Saturdays I've been out hammering workouts solo, so it was really nice to have a relaxed, fun run with friends today. Felt good after yesterday's workout - I slept like a freaking rock last night, so that definitely sped up the recovery.

PM - 7 miles, horsepark loops, working on my tan.

If anyone is interested in a Sunday run... tomorrow I'm meeting AdamRW and ACorn for about 10 miles - we'll start from Dan's Supermarket / Starbucks on Foothill, 8:00am.

Sounds a lot nicer in your neck of the woods than mine right now. The rest of the week is calling for 70's though! Just in time for my track team practices.

Nice job. Today's weather is freaking sweet. I hope tomorrow and Monday aren't to bad. I never liked running in the rain much. I love running with Allie and James. There is definitely some funny bantering wherever they are, that's for sure.

What? That happens sometimes when you start your run before sunrise and continue to after.

From Jake K on Sat, Mar 31, 2012 at 12:50:18 from 67.177.21.60

haha you know i'm just messing w/ you Rob. I know you have to get used to wearing sunglasses since you'll be on the beach for the next week.

Lily, at least the "bad" weather tomorrow is only going to last for a day. Then back to spring!

clarification: all the shirts came off except for mine. i'm not done with my tirunesh dibaba plan yet.

it was quite the sight seeing you guys coming down 2100 south. you looked like a cross country team all shirtless and sunglassesed.

there are so many adams now!

From Jake K on Sat, Mar 31, 2012 at 13:37:16 from 67.177.21.60

i didn't know what you did in terms of clothing once you split off... i didn't want to just ASSUME you left your shirt on

i think we can easily have 2 mens XC teams now from the blog - one for guys named adam and one for everyone else

From Tom Slick on Sat, Mar 31, 2012 at 13:40:26 from 69.171.160.36

Sounds like you all had a great run today. Sounds like I need to come do some running with you guys, maybe you can teach this old dog some new tricks!!!! I'll have to keep my shirt on cause nobody wants to see a tired old wrinklie guy.

From ACorn on Sat, Mar 31, 2012 at 13:40:50 from 24.2.76.146

Can I run on the Adam team? Nice miles Jake I should be used to seeing your totals by now but still wonder if you're human. I need to rewatch Anchorman

From Jake K on Sat, Mar 31, 2012 at 13:46:41 from 67.177.21.60

The adam team would not be the same without you, adam

Nice strong run! Looking forward to following you during Boston. You will kill it there.

From Fritz on Sat, Mar 31, 2012 at 19:01:17 from 67.182.226.25

Just speaking for myself, my arms don't resemble anything remotely close to guns. But I promise to work on it along with my tan lines.

I am suspecting some his soreness in the morning but if it isn't too bad I should make the run.

Good clarification Allie.

Sounds like such a fun run! Nice reward for your hard workout yesterday.
