AM - Gym w/ Andrea. 20 minutes on the stairmaster, and then we went back outside and ran a little bit (her idea, even though I wasn't supposed to run at all today). Much safer for me to be running.

So far in my cross training experiments I've learned that I would seriously injure myself on the elliptical (and we're talking something like a traumatic brain injury), I'm not much better at the stairmaster, and ask Lulu about how smooth I am clipping into pedals on my bike. All that's left is skiing, and hopefully I'll be able to do that a lot the rest of this spring.

More great thoughts from Vern Gambetta

PM - Andrea and I walked around the perimeter of SHP. And then raced the last 50 meters to the car.

Have you even been skiing this year?

From Jake K on Thu, Mar 07, 2013 at 08:36:04 from 155.100.226.191

Once, in December. The next day Andrea's injuries felt 10X worse, so we decided not to ski at all until we were confident it wouldn't be as bad for her.

Its crazy, a couple years ago I strung together a pair of back to back 100+ day ski seasons... that's when I was good!

haha I can totally relate...cross training for me is an accident waiting to happen.

Wow! there is a good chance I haven't been 100 times in my life. And I'm old.

You big tease: who won the sprint finish?

I got her. Sit and kick.
