AM - Zero. I feel like I tried to take a charge on Lebron James, he hit me at full steam, and then while I was down, he injected the lavender poison into my system. Seriously I think I either caught the stomach virus Andrea had, or just have some sort of bad food poisoning. Was up all night I'm pretty "depleted" right now (that's the least gross way I can put it). As someone who can typically put in a 25 mile day while feeling sick - I can barely walk across our living room right now. Ugly. I don't like this feeling!

PM - Hardly moved all day. Andrea and I took a walk and I made it just over a tenth of a mile before almost falling over. On the bright side, the weather has been crummy today and my original intention to do a big trail run / hike wouldn't have been a great idea anyways. I've been able to eat some freeze pops, that's about it.

Ugh, no good. Rest up.

Dang that lavender! It must be pretty bad to keep you off the roads, feel better.

It's a great way to lose a couple pounds before a big event.

I don't handle this inactivity very well! :-0

Yeah Redd - I'm down to racing weight... target is now the 100 meters b/c I couldn't make it much further!

Stay positive, you'll be 100% before you know it!

Ah, been there, it's a nasty little bug. You'll be over it quickly though, I'm guessing we'll see some Monday miles; get well and I'm sure you'll be on the roads soon. There is no escape!

Sounds miserable. I hope things are improving at least to the point that you can eat ice cream.

Wowza it must be badddddd! It is nice to know you aren't totally invincible though :) We will get to that ridge adventure soon!

Jake, that sounds dreadful!! It has been going around. I felt it coming on Thursday. My run was dreadfully fatigued and achy all over. I had been taking full strength probiotics for several days before I got the BRIEF version. I think that is why I didn't get as bad. The half marathon probably weakened your immune system when you were already "exposed". Sure it will blow over soon. Lazy days when you are sick are pscyhologically damaging, I think. Looks like you ran a few today however. Things are looking up ;D.

I think I was just mad that I got sick on a weekend day - those are the days I especially want to be outside and up in the mountains!

I'm back to normal now. A day off once or twice a year won't kill me :-)
