Day of rest. Went to the zoo.

Here's the article from the AZ Republic:

I had no desire to even run a step today. I actually feel better than I typically do after a marathon, probably due to how the race played out. But I feel like I accomplished all of my running related goals for the weekend and have nothing to prove. I also ate fajitas for three consecutive meals (one of which was breakfast), and that was great.

Andrea and I did a light PT session in the afternoon.

Its cloudy and cool in Phoenix today. Cloudy and cool in Phoenix!

I'm not actually running Boston, which really surprised the reporter and apparently he still didn't believe me! :-)

That's so cool! I bet you brought your parents so much happiness when they saw you break the tape. Celebrate your victory, you deserve it!

From Rob on Mon, Mar 04, 2013 at 15:28:06 from 72.254.30.128

They make it sound like you have to win a marathon to qualify for Boston. I'm glad you qualified, I bet Scott would kick me off the team and let you take my spot in a second.

I know I'm a little late in the game but a big congratulations to you. So great that you got a win for your parents. You deserve it for how dang hard you work.

Dude, completely awesome win and sweet paper article. You deserve a day off
