AM - 13 miles. Horsepark. Feeling like I nailed the taper for tomorrow's SoJo 5K.

Google: ladies seductively eating spaghetti

I just looked at that course. Nice to get that hill out of the way early and then fly from there. Since I am SOOO in to predictions, I am going to say there is a decent chance of a sub 15 here notwithstanding your insane mileage.

From Josh E on Fri, Oct 18, 2013 at 11:27:47 from 205.235.104.4

Unless it is really a bit long at 3.15. Then zero chance.

I'm planning to just stop whenever my Garmin hits 3.1 miles.

From allie on Fri, Oct 18, 2013 at 11:33:29 from 97.117.87.43

that is my plan as well. 3.1 alarm. stop and walk to the chikin truck.

Make sure you have enough peanut butter gels. I hear they help.

From Jake K on Fri, Oct 18, 2013 at 11:57:22 from 174.232.130.122

I agree, Josh. Running sub 15 for a 3.15 5K marathon is unrealistic. That would mean I could run about 14:50 for a 3.107 5K marathon, which would convert (on the Krong running calculator) to:

1) sub 31 second 200m

2) sub 1:03 half marathon

I know my limits, and those are out of reach at the moment.

Good luck tomorrow Jake. I've got a PB Gu in my purse that I'll fax to you this afternoon.

From Jake K on Fri, Oct 18, 2013 at 13:49:45 from 67.177.11.154

Thanks Rachelle. I might need it, especially if the course is 3.15. My camelback only has enough space for 32 oz of peanut butter mixed with 12 S-CAPS.
