AM - 7 miles.

Came across some of my old marble composition books recently.

This was probably my first training log entry ever...

Another one from high school - what is more impressive: sub 27 for 200m or my Mom running a sub 7:00 mile?

These ski logs bring back good memories. A few pages from 2010...

I kept fairly good records of skiing (and peakbagging) during my two years in Colorado (but have no running logs from those years). We kept a really good skiing log during our first season in Utah, then started tracking running a lot more closely (its nice to now have 5 years of consistent logs at this point) and stopped keeping track of the skiing as much (we also barely skied for three seasons).

I'm very optimistic that 2016 is going to be an excellent year for both skiing and running.

It's so fun to look back on the logs 😀 But 2016 is going to be excellent for more than just skiing and running!!

Pretty cool - I was going to say something about that must've been the only way to do it waay back then...but then I saw it was 2001. But I guess most HS kids probably don't know how to use Excel.

my favorite part: OFF THE HOOK.

i love stuff like this. my mom used to make me and all of my siblings write down a weekly happening/activity/memory in a giant blue journal. at the time we were all rebellious teenagers who tried to boycott it every week, but somehow she still got us to do it. reading through it now is priceless.

also, i googled via ferrata-ing...OMGsocool!

have an ultra xmas. #glug

There are 3 separate entries that say "Off The Hook" in 2009-2010. What a winter, apparently!

Joe - I was building my own websites (using FRAMES) in 2011! One of them is still live but it wasn't really off the hook, so I'm embarrassed to link it :-)

If you meant 2001, I'm impressed. If you meant 2011, I'm impressed.

At least you didn't write "off the heezy."

From Jake K on Mon, Dec 28, 2015 at 20:24:55 from 67.166.113.191

Ahhh I meant 2001. My websites were MUCH better by 2001. OK, slightly better.

when Facebook came out in 2004(?), my friends and I thought it was dumb because "who needs this? we already make our own websites!"

Look up Beaver Creek Colorado and you'll see why I wasn't saying words like "heezy" :-)

I really can't get the 2001 vs 2011 thing right
