AM - 8 miles. Ran 4 miles around the UNC-Wilmington campus with my Dad and Andrea, then 5000m on the track in 15:07. Cooled down one mile.

Nice track and field complex. The effort felt pretty smooth despite 99.9% humidity in the air. Even pacing, with the 1600m splits all right around 4:50. We'll call this a "high-end" tempo run. My Mom shot some video during the workout so Andrea could critique my form afterwards. Another day in the life at the Krong Project :-)

Really enjoyed running with my Dad... he kicked our butts on the warmup!

PM - 3 miles w/ Andrea (bike).

The Krong Tempo?

Dad isn't doing 7-8 miles of intervals again is he?

No, he's sticking to my warmup runs and then beach walking. Much more sensible!

Didn't you just run 15:08 on the roads two days ago? Nice tempo!

Awesome workout Jake. Enjoy your vacation!

Bret - that was a badddddd race on Saturday. I'm sure the O2 in NC helps a bit too... Although I don't love my shorts/socks carrying an extra 5 lbs of sweat! :-)

Fantastic workout! Sea level...awesome; humidity....not so much!

Don't feel bad, my dad is 65 and I can't outdrive him in golf. You'll get him one day.
