Thrilling finish by Molly Huddle last night at USAs. Watch the last lap.

Unplanned day off... got really sick in the middle of the night (food poisoning?) and spent the entire day in the hurtbox. This was worse than lavender poisoning. Beets and/or kale/spinach medley were the likely culprits, which raises the question - how can the healthiest foods also be the most deadly?

She's amazing. Notice how she's able to get her feet under her, tired and at that pace (I wouldn't begin to guess how fast).

Racing doesn't get any better. Too bad it happened in front of an empty stadium.

62 for that last lap, Jason.

It was a shame that the stadium was empty - half the crowd left immediately after the sprints finished.

Now I'm regretting my lavender and beet sandwich.

Get well soon!

So going into the finish she was under 4:00, which is what I was referring to. Super relaxed runner.

For poison/cure see Plato on pharmakon (cure but also poison). Chemotherapy is a contemporary example. Hope you feel better.
