AM - 11 miles up to work.

PM - 6 miles down to SHP. Last 2 w/ Andrea. Four days in a row running w/ her... that hasn't happened since last July!

As a follow up to my recovery post from Friday, I wrote another one about how I think I was able to get to the point where I can run so much consistently and not fall apart. Here's the link: How I went from injury prone to injury resistant

Yes, as always, Andrea provides some clarity to what I'm trying to say :-)

Who is that person in the picture with all of the hair? :-)

Another great write up Jake and again very informative and beneficial.

Another top post Jake. I remember reading the 'Champions Everywhere' thing. Is that where they said about the hiking etc?

All that hiking and skiing and running can't be beaten as a base. No wonder you can run so many miles with excellent and well thought out quality work.

Yes, its from the Champions Everywhere thingamajigger. I remember reading it at the time, and mentioned it to Andrea. And then last week when I re-read it and it was like a light bulb went off in my head - that's exactly what I did w/out realizing it. Kinda cool. Obviously not the approach everyone needs to take... but for me, I was in such a cycle that the only way I was coming out of it was the rebuild from scratch. And that's what happened.

Another awesome post Jake! Thanks again for sharing. A lot of amazing truths spoken. Thanks for teaching.
