AM - 4 miles easy around the block. Leaving for Phoenix now... and leaving the Garmin on the kitchen counter so there's no temptation to put it on tomorrow morning.

PM - 1 mile w/ Andrea.

Good Luck Brah!

Happy travels. Because of the sequester there should be one TSA official on duty and no air traffic controllers.

Travel safe Jake! Effort based race is 100% the smart choice. You are ready for a great race tomorrow.

I love that you're leaving the Garmin. Have a fabulous race. You are ready!

From Lulu Walls on Fri, Mar 01, 2013 at 10:04:01 from 155.100.9.11

But how will you know how fast you are running :) What if you accidentally run like a 2:12?

From Jason D on Fri, Mar 01, 2013 at 10:10:29 from 128.210.82.162

Good man. And look at that taper! You know where your pace is. Best of luck. Or my dad says before my races, "I don't mean to say luck; I hope your skills all come together at the right time." Never a man of profound words, I found it striking and I always think of this going into big races.

I like that Jason. I'm going to steal it and pass it off as my own quote.

From Jackie82 on Fri, Mar 01, 2013 at 10:33:45 from 18.189.15.36

Have a great race! I'm anxious to see your race post!

Feel free, Rob. The old man won't miss it.

The weather's been great down here in the mornings. I think we are in for good racing conditions. See you tomorrow. Let's go get it!

Hope it all comes together well Jake!

Jake,

Hi. Hope you do well tomorrow! Enjoy the race.

Thanks for the pre-race good wishes. Motivating to know so many people were behind me. And that's a great quote, Jason.
