Skied at Brighton w/ Andrea and Amiee. It felt like the middle of winter - cold, but the snow was powder and since Brighton has been closed for a week - untouched. Days like this are always great. We found a perfect spot in the trees and lapped it four times. I'll hold out hope for another storm like this, but I fear this may be our last powder skiing of the year. Another foot of snow really helped our chances of skiing well into June, though.

Since neither of those girls use the blog anymore, I'll post a lot of photos...

Absolutely breathtaking! During the storm this weekend, I thought of you and Andrea, and how good the skiing would be for you. Awesome!

It always seems strange that people are hoping for snow at this point, then I look at the photos . . . and remember you can GO TO the snow and not have it come to you. Pretty magical.

I've already heard it from like 5 people at work this morning "blah blah blah how can you WANT it to snow this time of year blah blah?"

My response is - are you going to be watering your lawn in July? If so, you should be happy about this, because we live in the desert!

SLC really is unique in the access to skiing from the valley. That's pretty much the reason we moved here in the first place. Nowhere else has this.
