AM - 13 miles. 4 mile AT Tempo in 21:12 (5:18/mi) - 5:19, 5:21, 5:18, 5:14. 6 up, 3 down. Tempo loop. It's a start! Gotta drop about a stone of weight, but keeping the efforts shorter for the time being is better as I try to rebuild my hamstring strength anyways.

PM - 8 miles w/ 8 x 200m in ~35s

Here's the form I need y'all to fill out to get in my tester database: Saucony Product Testing Application. I can't guarantee that everyone will qualify for every initial test, but the bigger and more diverse the pool of people I have to work with, the more options Saucony will have in terms of what shoes they send out this way.

Or you could just wear New Balance. Your call...

hey now, i listed two different NB shoes on the form. and also skechers. i'm probably already red-flagged in the database.

We want people that wear all brands... not just a bunch of Saucony fanboys. I'm especially targeting those that run >130 mile per week in LA Gear or Fila.

i think slowjoe wears a lot of LA gear gear. i know for a fact he has the light-up goggles.

Or Keds. They're the same company as well.

I actually started running in "Sears Winner II Sports Shoes". It was really hard to convince my dad that "special shoes" were needed for running.

I somehow Ebayed a pair of Jordon XI reissues (nostalgia sells well). I'm going to have to resell them unless I can get enough sponsors on the blog to get behind me running a race in them (distance to be determined).

I have a whole closet full of those shoes. I always thought they were Nike's because of the big N on the side of them.

Personally, I'm anxiously awaiting Hush Puppies to make their running shoe debut.

I agree with Allie that she has no chance of being selected, unless somebody at Saucony decides her poor footwear options deserve a humanitarian gesture :-)

Wolverine owns a lot of brands - they made a huge deal last year to acquire collective brands, which Saucony was a part of.

That being said, Saucony still operates independently.

Jason I think you should wear the Jordans for your trail race this summer. Attach some screws to the bottom for traction. Then re-sell them on eBay afterwards.

allie, I heard that. Those are PRESCRIPTION light up goggles, thank you very much. As for the LA gear shoes, they are just really fly.
