AM - 14 miles. First 6 easy and then into a 6 mile AT progression - 5:40, 5:36, 5:30, 5:24, 5:18, 5:13. Tempo Loop. Cooled down 2 more.

PM - 5 miles along the water in Hood River, OR. We spent the day sightseeing (ie. WATERFALLS!) along the Columbia River gorge. It was a wonderful sunny day in Oregon... hope that holds for the wedding tomorrow.

Well you didn't hear that from anyone who knew what they are talking about ;-)

To be honest... I'm fantastic, in my own mind

Way to ramp up your training, Jake! Very glad you are healthy. Keep it up!

Getting it back up, but keeping it conservative too... Especially in terms of the quality efforts. I know I'm not going to anywhere near PR shape by Duluth, so I'm not going to press and try to make it happen. Just want to stay healthy, keep getting my base/legs under me, and aim to be very competitive again come the late summer/ early fall.
