AM - 14 miles. Easy pace and kept it flat after two runs on the ranch to give my achilles a break. Mostly just grass/gravel loops at the horsepark.

PM - 7 miles.

The software realized you aren't a chubby white guy in his early 40s.

Also, my blog has a function that blocks all mention if competing brands. I'm going to try and send it via email virus to the entire Internet. That should make me pretty valuable to Saucony.

In that case, I'll test your blocker by touting my sponsor brand- Pearl Izumi. Run Like an Animal, baby!

Get them to do analysis of Paul's Kinvaras. He's never going to retire them. I'm clearly closer to the overweight dude in New Balances because I have thrashed mine.

But you know what? I consider it "my morning shoe" and will not surrender them for recycling until I've worn out the duct tape I need to repair them with. They've grown on me.

NEWTON!

I've put > 1000 miles on each of my first two pairs, only retiring them because I had others wanting to get into the rotation. My third pair is wearing out a little (upper is detaching a bit) but that's still after 500+ miles. Its a pretty durable shoe, although not everyone feels that way.

The bottoms of those 1K pairs, though, are very slippery!

The Saucony Kinvara I (circa 2010) are just feeling broken in after 1600 miles. The Kinvara III's don't hold a candle...but looking forward to trying out the IV's sometime.

Ran in the Hattori this morning, and still trying to figure out why I got them, other than I feel like a ninja. I'll be lucky to get 400 miles on that pair.

Yeah my 2s are the ones that last forever... the upper on the 1 and 2s were built a little differently than the current models (3/4)... dual layer material vs one layer of flexfilm which tends to tear a little easier. They are working on fixing that problem w/out adding anymore weight. They have a new version of flexfilm that is more robust.

Paul you are definitely one of the few runners to get 400 miles on the Hattoris. No one knows why that shoe exists! :-) Its out of the line now.

The secret to long life is hidden in Paul's and Sasha's shoes...
