AM - 14.5 miles. Back to Jeremy Ranch for the second day in a row... living the dream! Andrea and I spent the night in Park City, so it was a no-brainer to join Rob and Fritz for an easy run on the dirt road with all the cows, which were out in full force this morning.

After breakfast we decided to scrap any grand plans of epic hiking / mountain biking and just take a leisurely relaxation day. Went to the PC Silly Market, hung out by the pool, etc. Started looking at the maps of Grand Teton National Park and planning our next trip... already super stoked and its still two weeks away!

PM - 7.5 miles. Horsepark loops... hot out!

Great week! The way I count my weeks (Mon-Sun) your were like 135. When you start doing workouts and sharpening again I think you'll make another jump. Good job on the easy fun running lately.

Thanks! Its funny how I didn't even realize I had run this much until Andrea said something an hour ago. Just having fun and doing whatever for now... the good thing is that "whatever" keeps me in pretty awesome shape so once I decide what I want to focus on again, it should be a smooth transition (hopefully).

I love that your "leisurely relaxing day" includes 22 miles of running. You rock Jake!

yeah, I love that a 'whatever' week yields results like this! I know some people would look at my 'whatever' weeks and be impressed, but little baby runners like myself look at yours and about fall over dead! awesome work Jake!!! Glad you had a nice relaxing day :)

Jake, my wife, the kids and I will be up in Yellowstone and visiting Jackson Hole in a month. Let me know if you find any cool places to run and/or hike and eat.

Dale - you can rest assured that we'll have comprehensive blogs detailing all of our adventures! :-)

I know that some of the things on our "hit" list are hiking the Paintbrush-Cascade canyons loop, running / biking near Two Oceans lake, River Road, the Elk Refuge, etc. There is so much up there - its overwhelming just looking at the maps... there are a hundred things we want to see/do.

From DaleG on Mon, Jul 09, 2012 at 20:53:20 from 152.216.7.5

OH YEAH!!! There are a million things to do up there. My sister lives in Victor, Idaho, so we'll being staying with her for part of the trip.
