AM - 15.3 miles on the Moose-Wilson path. Felt a bit tired this morning, the dreary/rainy weather didn't help. Luckily Andrea ran the first 10 miles w/ me, or else it would have been a massive mental undertaking to make it to 2 hours! Glad to get it in, though - nothing else to do when the weather is socked in. Hopefully these clouds will break soon and we'll be able to do some fun stuff today.

PM - 7.5 miles.

The weather broke for a few hours and we had a great time rafting on the Snake River this afternoon. Saw a bald eagle!

Oh, and McD's sells dipped cones now?!?! Sorry DQ, this is gonna put you out of business!

Good luck to everyone running Des News tomorrow!!!

Love checking out the pictures of your adventures! If you haven't seen this Hardrock 100 video yet, check it out! http://vimeo.com/45898508

McDonalds also sells Lattes but I don't think Starbucks is going away anytime soon. That said, I do think the DQ could solidify their existence by bringing back Dennis the Menace, i.e, the best cartoon ever. Enjoy the rest of your high adventure trip!

Okay, I am checking out McDs. Had no idea they sold dipped cones! And you know I agree with the great pictures remark. It's like another world out there! So you are from CT. Fill me in some time on where I can get views like that in CT...or even close to that!

Apparently the McDs dipped cones are a limited-time thing in participating locations only.

I'm from NY, Pre... but I don't think you can get the mountain views of the peaks anywhere like this back east. Some cool rivers and forests especially up in the Adirondack high peaks regions of NY, though. I'm sure there are some pretty areas in CT - just not familiar w/ them.

Jake,

ah New York. I thought I remembered you coming to CT last year to visit your parents? You entertained running a race up here I thought...maybe the Manchester Road Race. Well not sure about all this...just something that was in my head. Limited time huh. That's kind of a bummer.

Close, PRE... my aunt lives in CT near you, and that's where we usually all meet for thanksgiving. Pretty good memory! I have been wanting to run Manchester on Thanksgiving, but I don't think I'm going to make it out this year.

Emaurine and I will keep DQ in business!
