AM - 13 miles. LT Reps: 3 x 2 miles - 9:56, 9:55, 9:52. Tempo loop (0.5 rec). 4.5 up (w/ Andrea), 1.5 down. Target was 9:55, so right on the money.

PM - 4 miles. 

Running TV alert: Nine for IX on Mary Decker / Zola Budd tonight (6pm MST, ESPN). Lots of great WCs action today as well (Duane and Nick go for gold in the 800! - BBC Stream).

Ran the whole race in lane 2-3! Wow, that was close. She needs to find the rail in the final... but she stayed out of trouble and closed well. Wow. I'm so happy for her. 4:05 is a great time in the semi-finals. I liked that heat a lot, they made it an honest race!

Duane tried to do the Rudisha wire-to-wire but that's a tough thing to do. Thought Nick might be able to get the gold. Still, great to grab a silver. Aman kicked well.
