After yesterday's long run, Andrea and I went up to Alta and spent the afternoon backcountry skiing in the Twin Lakes Pass area. Then we retired to the outdoor hot tub as the snow kept coming down, spent a wonderful evening at the Peruvian Lodge, eating like kings for every meal, and skied all day at Alta today. So much fun!!!

The conditions were OKAY...

PM - 4.5 miles easy. Looking back over it, I had a pretty good week. So I just went out to loosen up a bit after skiing, and let my legs absorb yesterday's effort and the pounding they take chasing Andrea around Alta.

March is usually the best (snowiest) month. Hopefully April will make up for the lack of snow this winter. The mountains are so much more fun in May/June with a healthy snowpack.

Derek - good thing you don't ski... you'd be disappointed in where you live :-)
